Recently, I found out about a writing challenge from some friends to effectively capture feelings at a moment in time in 25 words. In essence, I could go back 3 months from now and read the 25 word post below and say ‘That’s what I was thinking about on July 19th’.
Earlier today, I added my 25 words at a friends website Productivity in Context. Here is my poetic contribution of what was on my mind today.

Still workin’ on my 25 words but I’ve seen some excellent posts on the challenge all around the web! It’s easy to say anything in 25 words…but add meaning to them and it gets a little more difficult.
You packed a whole world of meaning into those 25 words.
Remarkable Parents is developing into one of my favorite blogs. This post topic is a great example of why.
Unfortunately, I won’t be becoming a parent after all but I will continue coming to your site simply because I think there’s a great deal of value here. Excellent job!
Sorry about the bold text, but I like it and I think it adds something. Kinda like your 25 words.
Posting my 25 words here because I just discovered that Liz’s deadline was yesterday.
Today I remember that surrender is the key to writing and life: trusting that all is in divine order in every moment, in every breath.
P.S. I’ve also sort of extended/amended Liz’s project at http://markdavidgerson.blogspot.com/2008/07/25-words-of-living.html
Vicky, You are an incredible writer. Your style resonates with me. Your 25 Words motivated me to give it a try.
Marriage is overrated.
Marriage is forced by a society obsessed with conformity.
Live up to society standards or be shunned.
Not everyone is for marriage.
In a funk.
What to do?
Call a friend and go to a Burger Festival.
Guaranteed to lift you right back up right away!
@Ricardo I’m glad you stopped by. Went to your web site and really enjoyed your latest article.
@Mark I love yours.
@Lara I understand your frustration with conformity in society. Be yourself, your fabulous just the way you are
@Stephen Keeping it real! Great friends are priceless, and a burger is a tasty treat. Thanks for contributing.

The project was a lot of fun, but not easy! The three you highlighted here are among my favorites as well. Thanks for sharing, Vicky.
